Sculptra Liverpool
Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid collagen stimulator that works with your skin from within — gradually restoring volume and improving skin quality for results that last up to 2 years. Administered by GMC-registered, Save Face accredited doctors.
What Is Sculptra?
Sculptra is an injectable poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator. Unlike dermal fillers, which add immediate volume, Sculptra works by stimulating your body's own collagen production over time — delivering gradual, natural-looking improvement that can last up to 2 years.
It is particularly well suited to patients looking for subtle, progressive results rather than an immediate change. Because the improvement develops gradually over weeks and months, results look entirely natural — friends will notice you look well rather than done.

Frequently Asked Questions
Sculptra is an injectable poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator. Unlike dermal fillers, it does not add immediate volume — instead it stimulates your own collagen production over time, producing gradual, natural-looking improvement in volume and skin quality lasting up to 2 years.
This depends on the areas being treated and the degree of volume loss. A course of 3 sessions is recommended for optimal results. Your doctor will advise on the right number of vials — 1 or 2 per session — at your free consultation.
Results from a full course of Sculptra typically last approximately 2 years, making it one of the longest-lasting aesthetic treatments available. Individual results may vary depending on age, lifestyle and the number of vials used.
Topical numbing cream is applied prior to treatment. Sculptra is also mixed with lidocaine, which provides additional anaesthesia during the procedure. Most patients find the treatment well tolerated.
Downtime is approximately 24 hours. Some swelling and bruising is normal immediately after treatment. You will be advised to massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days after each session to ensure even distribution of the product.
Sculptra works gradually. Some improvement may be visible after the first session, but the full effect develops over 3–6 months as collagen production increases. This gradual onset is what makes results look entirely natural.
