Save Face Accredited — What It Means for You

We are a Save Face Accredited Clinic. Our practitioners, our products and our clinic environment have all been independently assessed and verified. Here is exactly what that means.

Save Face Accredited Clinic — Revitalise Aesthetics Liverpool Save Face — Professional Standards Authority Accredited Register

The UK's Most Rigorous
Aesthetic Standard

Save Face is not a membership organisation. You cannot pay to join. Every clinic must pass a 116-point assessment — independently conducted by Save Face nurse assessors — before accreditation is granted.

Save Face is a Professional Standards Authority accredited register, placing it on the same regulatory tier as other PSA-accredited registers covering nursing, dentistry and other healthcare professions. It is recognised by the Government, the Department of Health and NHS England.

Revitalise Aesthetics holds clinic accreditation. Both Dr Amy and Dr Misha hold individual practitioner accreditation. The assessment covers three distinct areas.

Why This Matters

The UK aesthetics industry is largely unregulated. There is currently no law requiring specific qualifications, training or clinical oversight to offer many aesthetic treatments. Anyone can legally administer dermal fillers or operate a laser with minimal training.

Save Face exists to address that gap. It is the only independent body in the UK that verifies the practitioner, the products they use and the physical clinic environment — not just a paper check, but an in-person assessment for the clinic.

For patients, this means that choosing a Save Face accredited clinic is the clearest available signal that a clinic has been independently held to account — and has passed.

PSA Accredited Register

Save Face holds accreditation from the Professional Standards Authority — the same oversight body that accredits registers across nursing, dentistry and other healthcare professions.

Government Recognised

Recognised by the Government, the Department of Health and NHS England as the standard for non-surgical aesthetic practice in the UK.

Annual Renewal Required

Accreditation must be renewed annually. It is not a one-time certificate. Ongoing compliance is required to remain listed.

What Save Face Verifies

The assessment covers three independent areas. All three must pass. There is no partial accreditation.

01
The Practitioner

Save Face verifies each practitioner individually, not just the clinic as an entity. For each practitioner on the register, the assessment confirms:

  • Full registration with a relevant professional body (GMC, GDC or NMC)
  • Appropriate training for each specific treatment listed on their Save Face profile
  • Valid, comprehensive insurance covering all listed treatments
  • Proof of relevant CPD and ongoing professional development
  • Prescribing authority or access to a prescriber for prescription-only medicines

Both Dr Amy and Dr Misha are GMC-registered doctors, individually listed on the Save Face register.

02
The Products

Save Face verifies that the products and equipment used are safe, effective, genuine and sourced only from licensed suppliers. The assessment confirms:

  • Products are CE-marked or equivalent, legally licensed for use in the UK
  • Products are purchased from licensed, audited suppliers — not grey-market sources
  • No counterfeit or unlicensed products are used
  • Equipment is appropriate for the treatments being delivered
  • Cold chain and storage requirements are met where applicable

Every product used at Revitalise has been verified through this process. You will never receive a counterfeit or grey-market product at our clinic.

03
The Environment

Save Face are the only body in the UK that physically inspects every clinic on their register. A Save Face nurse assessor visits and confirms:

  • The clinic environment is safe, hygienic and fit for clinical use
  • Appropriate consent, record-keeping and aftercare processes are in place
  • Emergency equipment is held — including reversal agents where required
  • Formal adverse reaction and emergency protocols exist and are reviewed
  • Patient privacy, dignity and safety standards are met

Our Castle Street clinic has been physically inspected and passed. Emergency equipment — including hyaluronidase and adrenaline — is held on site at all times.

The Save Face Patient Charter

Save Face publishes a Patient Charter — a set of standards every accredited clinic commits to upholding. As a Save Face Accredited Clinic, we operate in accordance with these standards.

What the Patient Charter Covers

The Save Face Patient Charter sets out what every patient of an accredited clinic is entitled to expect. This includes the right to a proper consultation before treatment, honest and complete information about risks and alternatives, access to a qualified prescriber, follow-up care and access to a formal complaints process. It is the patient safety framework that underpins the entire accreditation.

No. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulates specific invasive clinical procedures and defined healthcare settings. Non-surgical aesthetic treatments — fillers, anti-wrinkle injections, skin boosters, chemical peels — fall outside CQC jurisdiction. Save Face is the specific, appropriate accreditation for non-surgical aesthetics. It is a Professional Standards Authority accredited register, placing it on the same regulatory tier as other PSA-accredited healthcare registers.

Visit saveface.co.uk and search for Revitalise Aesthetics, or use accreditation number 2VTU0INCL4. Our listing shows the clinic accreditation, the individual practitioner listings for Dr Amy and Dr Misha, and the treatments each doctor is verified and trained to deliver.

As a Save Face Accredited Clinic, we hold formal adverse reaction and emergency protocols, reviewed annually. Both Dr Amy and Dr Misha hold Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification. Emergency reversal agents — including hyaluronidase — are on site at all times. If you have any concern after treatment, contact us directly. Save Face also operates a complaints process for patients of accredited clinics. Our complaints policy is published on this website.

Save Face operates as a Professional Standards Authority accredited register — the same oversight framework applied to dental and nursing registers. It is recognised by the Government, the Department of Health and NHS England. While non-surgical aesthetics does not currently require statutory regulation in the UK, PSA-accredited registers represent the highest available voluntary standard and are treated as the benchmark for safe practice by the Department of Health.

The UK aesthetics industry is largely unregulated. Anyone can legally offer many treatments with minimal training and no independent oversight. Save Face accreditation provides the independent verification that the practitioner is qualified, the products are genuine and safe, and the clinic has been physically inspected. It is the clearest available way to distinguish verified, safe clinics from unverified providers.

Annually. Save Face accreditation is not a one-time achievement — ongoing compliance with Save Face standards is required at each renewal. Our current accreditation (number 2VTU0INCL4) is valid until 11 May 2027. You can verify the current status at any time on the Save Face register.
